The audit trail records changes made through NexoraNAS. Changes made directly on the device are outside its log, although configuration review can reveal differences from your standard. If direct changes are a concern, restrict the NAS admin accounts to the team that uses NexoraNAS.
Yes. Service providers can produce per-client reports covering health, incidents and capacity, which makes the value of monitoring visible. Branded reports can be scoped as customisation.
Retention depends on your configuration and storage. Longer retention gives better trend analysis and audit evidence, while shorter retention saves space. The period is agreed during setup and can be adjusted.
An audit trail is a useful control, but compliance depends on many things beyond one tool. NexoraNAS gives you evidence of monitoring and changes; it does not by itself certify compliance with any standard or regulation.
