Table turns decide revenue in a busy restaurant. These tips help you seat faster, serve better and bill on time.
Know your table mix
Many tables for four with few for two wastes seats. Look at party size reports and adjust.
Reservation buffers
Hold a table about 90 minutes around a booking, but release it if guests do not arrive. A floor view that shows reserved tables prevents double booking.
Waitlist
- Record party size and phone
- Quote an honest wait
- Call when a table frees up
- Offer bar seating to waiting guests
Speed up the end of the meal
- Let guests ask for the bill from the table QR
- Print the bill in advance
- Offer UPI QR on the bill
- Clear and reset quickly
Use data
The busy-hours heatmap shows where tables are full and where they are empty, so you can plan offers and staff.
