Can we hide rank on the report card?

Rank is computed in the results screen. Whether it appears on the printed report card depends on the layout set-up, so tell us your preference during the demo. Many schools show rank only to the principal and hide it from printed cards for younger classes, and the layout can follow that choice.

How do we handle absent students?

Mark the student absent for that exam as your policy requires, so totals, percentage and rank reflect your rule. Agree the rule before the exam and apply it consistently to every class. Consider a re-exam process for genuine absence and record the outcome with the principal’s approval.

Can parents see results online?

Yes, in the parent portal once the school publishes them. Publish only after marks are locked and checked by the class teacher. You can also hand out printed report cards at the parent meeting, so parents who prefer paper still receive the same result.

What if a mark is wrong after publishing?

A senior user with permission can unlock the marks, correct them and lock again, and the audit log records the change. Tell the parent about the correction and reprint the report card. Having a clear correction process is better than quiet edits that parents may notice later.
