Does the vehicle record show insurance expiry?

Yes. It stores an insurance or fitness due date that is highlighted when it is within 30 days. There are no automatic SMS or email reminders, so check the transport screen regularly. Keep vehicle documents in a file as well, and assign one person to review dates each month.

Can we have different fees for different stops?

The fee is set per route. If stops need different fees, create separate routes, such as a near and a far route, and allot students accordingly. This keeps the ledger simple and the route list clear for drivers, while still letting the school charge by distance.

Can parents see the transport fee?

Yes. Parents see the route fee as part of the dues and receipts in the portal, like any other fee. If a family changes route, update the allotment in the student profile so the dues are correct from the date you decide, and tell the parent about the change.

Is GPS tracking included?

No. NexoraEDU does not track buses with GPS or show live location to parents. It manages routes, stops, vehicles, drivers, student allotment and the monthly route fee. Schools that need tracking usually add a separate GPS vendor, and we can discuss integration as a custom project.

Set up routes carefully

Name each route clearly and list stops in order

Charge the route fee

In NexoraEDU each route has a monthly fee. The fee goes into the student ledger so the fee counter collects it with tuition.

Decide the mid-year rule

Print lists every month

Print the route-wise list for drivers and attendants and ask them to report changes at once. The list is only as good as the allotments behind it.

What is not included

GPS tracking, live bus location and automatic parent alerts are not part of NexoraEDU. Many schools use a separate tracker if they need it.
