Can parents see canteen spending?

They can see the wallet balance in the portal. Item-level details depend on what the school chooses to share, so decide a policy and tell parents. A weekly balance reminder helps parents top up in time, and the canteen sales report helps the school review popular items and stock.

What if a child’s wallet runs out?

The counter blocks a wallet sale that is larger than the balance, so the child must top up at the office or pay cash. Agree a school rule for emergencies, and keep the correction process for a wrong charge in writing so staff handle it the same way every time.

Is the hostel module a full boarding system?

It covers rooms, beds and allotments, with the canteen wallet, health records and helpdesk around it. Gate pass, leave-out approval, mess meal planning and hostel attendance are not included in this version, so continue your existing register for those and use the software for the rest.

How should health records be protected?

Health records are sensitive. Give access only to authorised staff such as the warden or nurse, use separate logins, and review who has access each term. NexoraEDU controls access by role, but good habits such as strong passwords and not sharing screens matter as much as the software.
